Overview
As our Director Perioperative Services at St Luke's Health’s - the Woodlands Hospital, a member of CommonSpirit Health, you’ll provide leadership and communication to the staff and physicians to assure the work environment adheres to regulatory requirements, reflecting high quality standards which supports patient care excellence and a safe environment.
Every day you will oversee the strategic, operational, and financial management of surgical services, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient perioperative operations.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate positive leadership, facilitate high quality work environments, establish working relationships with surgeons and anesthesiologists to develop collaborative processes and achieve efficiencies within the department.
About Us:
St Luke's Health’s - the Woodlands Hospital is a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women's services (digital mammography and bone density studies) , neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery pathology and pulmonary services and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Radiation Treatment Center and Texas Children’s Hospital.
Responsibilities
● Articulates departmental goals and objectives allowing staff to actively participate in clinical decision‐making.
● Ensures that appropriate equipment and supplies are available to provide effective and efficient nursing care.
● Leads quality programs (e.g.SCIP, HCAPS) and works to develop action plans for continuous improvement.
● Identifies and Implements major hospital cost savings
● Identifies new revenue‐producing opportunities within the surgical service.
● Facilitates professional growth and development of staff.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
● Master's Degree
● Registered Nurse (RN)
● Seven (7) years experience in the discipline
● Five (5) years leadership experience

$56.83 - $82.40 /hour
