Lead the Data Integration Analysts on a daily basis and provide technical expertise to create and enforce data integration standards. Responsible for building data integration solutions utilizing Oracle Data Integration (ODI) tools, Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) tools and defining database reporting schemas. Lead project teams to build data migration solutions that are stable, scalable and follow best practices.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the evaluation for ETL and Data Quality solutions actively being developed including performance optimization and high availability
Lead the analysis, design, development, and unit testing of ODI and EDQ programs from detailed and high-level specifications and assist with troubleshooting
Build low latency end to end solutions using ODI and EDQ for change data capture
Map business requirements into ODI Interfaces, Packages, and Load Plans using source to target mapping documents
Enforce business rules using ODI Constraints and EDQ data quality functions
Create database objects, develop database procedures, functions, and triggers to perform complex ETL processes
Lead the conversion of Logical Data Models into Physical Data Models
Setup Java EE ODI Agents running in a WebLogic server cluster for High Availability
Design and build components to assist with automation of common tasks via the ODI SDK
Extend the base ODI Knowledge Modules to create customized versions that will be re-usable across the company’s data integration projects
Scrub and cleanse source data according to requirements and standards
Create both Design and Interface docs in support of data migration projects
Collaborate with the Development teams in a multi-user environment to promote code changes into source code control for deployment to INT, QA, Load and Production environments
Monitor ETL and data quality jobs and activities
Support ODI, EDQ and MDM software packages
Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support
Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced Data Integration Analysts
Rotate weekly on-call responsibilities
Job Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience
Experience:
9 years of experience working with ETL, Data Quality and MDM tools
Advanced capabilities with ETL and Data Quality Tools in Data Warehouse and MDM environments
Solid knowledge of RDBMS systems including Oracle, SQL Server and DB2
Solid capabilities with analysis, design, development, and implementation of major database structures
Proficient using SQL, SQL Plus and PL/SQL
Proficient using data modeling tools
Proficient with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ)
Knowledge of Oracle RAC on a Super Cluster platform
Problem-solving ability and proven ability to work multiple deadlines
Demonstrated creativity and intellectual curiosity around problem resolution and solution definition
Detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Agile Development methodology preferred
Knowledge of WebLogic clustering and load balancing preferred
Exposure to iSeries DB2 preferred
Familiarity with Embarcadero ER/Studio preferred
UNIX experience preferred
