Job Title: Yard Labour
Job Description
Join our team as a Yard Labourer where you will be responsible for processing vehicles, picking up metals around the yard, sorting them, and cleaning around the processing stand. You will also assist Equipment Operators during maintenance tasks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include keeping the work area clean, inspecting vehicles before processing according to End-of-life vehicle standards, maintaining the yard, arranging non-ferrous inventory, and reporting any issues or concerns to leadership immediately. Additionally, you will assist in achieving the site’s monthly and daily production goals and perform other duties as assigned.
Hard Skills
Experience in yard labour, manufacturing, scrap yard, or auto yard
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to follow instructions
Attention to detail
Proactive reporting of issues or concerns
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Work Environment
This role is based in a metal scrap yard where materials are dropped off in designated areas. The standard working hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM on day shifts.
