Arcadis is currently searching for a Senior CAD/BIM Team Leader, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, to join our Water team in the Toledo, OH office. Role description: The CAD/BIM Team is focused on producing quality deliverables using several different software programs, and in close coordination with our engineers of record for each project. The Team works in both Autodesk and Bentley programs, in both 2D and 3D, depending on our clients' expectations. Projects may include any combination of engineering disciplines, including but not limited to process mechanical, site civil, structural, HVAC, architectural, and electrical. The team performs work for projects and project teams locally, regionally, and nationally. The Senior CAD/BIM Team Leader will assume leadership responsibility of an existing team of talented individuals with a vast array of skillsets, and will report to the Area Leader. The Team Leader will work closely with the team's Senior CAD Designers to organize and position the team for future growth, while maintaining a continued focus of quality control and assurance. The Team Leader will intentionally expand and develop our collective knowledge and abilities of working in a 3D space, while continuing to leverage our customer service model. Further, the Team Leader will integrate with the hybrid team and enhance our sincere care for our people, in alignment with our People First value. Role accountabilities:

• Responsible for team leadership - building rapport and positively contributing to culture
• Manage/ coordinate workload
• Participate in and encourage professional (technical and leadership) development of Team
• Oversee project execution and coordination, balancing quality, schedule, and budget
• Enforce quality assurance reviews
• Work to improve workflows and project integration with Engineering team
• Continued team growth in current and new technology as applicable to our business
• Maintain working relationships with project teams in local and other Arcadis offices
• Identify and participate in recruiting and hiring new team members
• Understand and contribute to business decisions relevant to the markets we serve

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or similar
• 5 years experience leading a team in a professional environment
• 10 years Revit experience

Key Skills and Attributes:

• Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to connect with, mentor, inspire and lead the team and maximize the skill set of a diverse team of people
• Fluent with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and capable of teaching others
• Knowledgeable in design project work flows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing growth of a large team
• Experience with working on teams in different locations/offices
• Strong working proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Microstation
• Experience with both 2D & 3D drafting
• Growth mindset
