Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Vice President Nursing Administration for Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

• Master s Degree in Nursing Administration, Master s Degree in Health Care Administration or other appropriate field in Nursing Business.

• Current New Jersey RN License.

• BLS Health Care Provider (American Heart Association)

• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrates a fiscally responsible approach in preparing and executing the

budget

• Oversees unit departmental budget for personnel, supplies, equipment and

Projects for areas of responsibilities. Demonstrates a fiscally responsible

approach in preparing the budget. Monitors that the Directors of Patient Care

are effectively managing their operational budget.

• Delegates and prioritizes work assignments

• Encourages and promotes nursing education and specialty certification

• Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care

This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
