In this vital role you will help solidify Amgen as a leader in Cardiology as well as fortify our strong position in the Bone Health Space with Prolia™ (denosumab), a blockbuster product in Post-Menopausal Osteoporosis, as well as Evenity (romosozumab), and Repatha TM (evolocumab), a first in class treatment option in dyslipidemia.   • Contacting physicians (General Practice, Endocrinology/Cardiology) and other Healthcare Professionals (Nurses, Pharmacists, Dieticians, and Endocrinologists) to develop our business and expand the clinical use of Repatha and Prolia in the territory.

  • Achieve maximum market share vs. competitive product

  • Respond to customer needs and maintain a high quality of service via knowledge of the Osteoporosis, Cardiology and Endocrinology therapeutic areas and the appropriate management of patients

  • Handle any logistics pertaining to Amgen sponsored rounds; implement in-services and continuing health education initiatives (National/Regional Speaker Tours) with programs

  • Create/develop innovate programs, as required, and build competitive advantage for Amgen within key accounts

  • Achieve customer sales by carrying out POA marketing strategies, which includes delivering branded sales messages

  • Servicing customers with the focus on ensuring product access, resolving/triage reimbursement issues, and supporting fulfillment

  • Developing and implementing customer plans, including review of sales activities, territory analysis and CRM maintenance

  • Providing feedback on marketing strategies and effectiveness in the field

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideally 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience

  • Sales experience in the Rheumatology and Cardiology/Dyslipidemia market a significant asset

  • Experience in both Specialty & Primary Care selling environments considered an asset

  • Familiarity with customers in territory

  • Track record of competitive selling skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Negotiation skills

  • Strong decision making/problem solving skills

  • Leadership skills

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
