Bio-Techne Manufacturing Technician - Cartridge Assembly in Toronto, Ontario

Position Summary:
The qualified individual will be responsible for various aspects of product assembly and testing. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to assemble and use complex instruments and assemblies. Some of the major areas of responsibility are, but not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Visually inspect, assemble and test cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved assembly procedures.
Able to follow all work instructions and procedures and record all production information as required
Ability to use a computer to perform tests, download information or record test data.
Ability to work with a microscope for extended periods of time
Able to use and maintain hand tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test cartridges
Good hand eye coordination, stable hands for delicate component assembly
Comply with gowning protocols as required and maintain a clean, orderly and organized work area.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Attention to detail
Good communications skills (written and oral)
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) Columns or microfluidics assembly a plus
Experience in electronic or medical device assembly a plus
