Are you an ambitious and proven Market Development specialist looking for a unique opportunity to contribute to world-class proteomics research? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Market Program Manager - Core/Functional Proteomics to join our exceptional team in the United States.

The specialist would serve as a program manager and subject matter authority within Life Sciences OMICS Marketing, supporting focus areas, including immunopeptidomics! They will apply scientific expertise and market research to identify key application needs, market development trends and opportunities for overall market growth while also enabling customers to accelerate their science on the cutting edge of mass spectrometry.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine market needs and trends in the field of Core/Functional Proteomics, including quantitative proteomics and immunopeptidomics segments

  • Create and implement marketing programs to proficiently carry out market strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and ensure execution of marketing campaigns.

  • Publish technical/application notes, posters, peer-reviewed articles and various marketing collateral in support of the core proteomics, quantitative proteomics and immunopeptidomics strategic marketing plan

  • Present methods/workflows and notable solutions at conferences and internal/external meetings

  • Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities

  • Compete in the market by positioning our products as the preferred choice for researchers

  • Train sales and/or customers on our workflow and deliver key propositioning information relevant to core proteomics, quantitative proteomics and immunopeptidomics

  • Interact with the global commercial teams to support pre- and post- sales requirements

  • Monitor and analyze market data to identify areas for improvement

  • Engage with customers and key opinion leaders to gather insights and drive product development

  • Work with R&D, product management, product marketing across different business units to implement a go-to-market plan for applicable products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field, advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the life sciences industry

  • Strong knowledge of proteomics, chromatography, mass spectrometry and related technologies

  • Demonstrated history of creating and implementing successful marketing initiatives and customer engagements

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Estimated 40% of domestic and international travel

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $112,500.00–$168,500.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
