Job Description

  • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

  • Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.

  • Min 2+ years relevant work experience.

  • Works as part of an account team to identify, qualify and deliver Hardware products/ solutions.

  • Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory.

  • Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies.

  • Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications.

  • Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers.

  • Drives company's strategy into assigned accounts. Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit.

  • Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and carried out in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities.

  • Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals.

  • Ability to travel as required by the business

What You’ll Do

You will understand what motivates customers to buy and what drives the industry to grow faster and know how to tap into those needs in an effective way

You will be responsible for encouraging long-term strategic relationships within select high profile enterprise accounts

You will develop a robust qualified pipeline and handle strategic and customer centric account planning, crafting, owning and forecasting

You will be the trusted advisor and influencer in winning customer decisions to buy, architect and adopt Oracle solutions

You will work across the Oracle ecosystems and our technology partners to transform customer organizations and build enduring capabilities.

Nurture client relationships by building trust, partnership and an emotional connection to the Oracle brand and team

Gain access and build relationships with key executives, C-level leaders and decision makers.

Master and share the “why Oracle story” that represents the value we provide to customers with our unified, multi-pillar offerings.

Build and implement key sales and business development initiatives to improve awareness of Oracle OCI and increase sales pipeline.

Successfully prospect into your assigned accounts to discover and develop viable selling opportunities.

Initiate and manage sophisticated sales cycles, using the support and strengths of key internal partners (Pre-Sales, Product Management, Executives and Industry Global Business Units to name a few).

Travel as required, as this role may be a virtual position.

Exadata Database Machine / Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) The Exadata Database Machine is the most cost-efficient and highest performance platform for running Oracle Databases. ExaCS deliver’s the world’s most advanced database cloud by combining the world’s #1 database technology and Exadata, the most powerful database platform, with the simplicity, agility and elasticity of cloud.

Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer combines the performance of Oracle Exadata with the simplicity, flexibility, and affordability of a managed database service in your data centers. Ideal for customers who cannot move their databases to the public cloud due to sovereignty laws, industry regulations, corporate policies, or organizations that find it impractical to move databases away from other tightly coupled on-premises IT infrastructure.

The Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance is an engineered system designed specifically for Oracle database protection. It eliminates data loss and dramatically reduces data protection overhead on production servers. In addition, the Recovery Appliance continually validates the integrity and recoverability of the data, scales to protect thousands of databases, and protects backups across the full lifecycle, including disk backup, cloud / tape archiving, and remote replication. The security hardened and resilient platform design of the Recovery Appliance makes it ideal for cyber security architectures.

The Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA). An easy-to-deploy, “turnkey” solution that integrates compute, network, and storage resources in a software-defined fabric to enable agile and efficient data center deployments. With Oracle PCA, customers get a converged infrastructure that can be scaled linearly, one server at a time and by addition of extra storage shelves as customer needs grow.

Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance is a dedication, enterprise storage system that is optimized for Oracle workloads and cloud integration. It is a unified storage system that allows customers to consolidate file, block, and object storage on a single platform. Oracle ZFS combines high all-flash performance with petabytes of storage capacity, allowing customers to run all workloads at peak speed. Built-in Oracle Database integrations, including automated prioritization of database IOs, enable IT departments to optimize workload performance and reduce administration to achieve low total cost of ownership (TCO).

US: Hiring Range: from $73,100 to $117,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
