Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This position offers multiple shifts including 1st shift (9am-5:30pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm), and 3rd shift (10:30pm-7am). The role involves order entry, follow-up, and various data entry tasks to ensure accurate and timely prescription/patient information input. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of pharmacy computer systems and be capable of resolving discrepancies in orders with customers.
Responsibilities
Perform new order entry, DC’s, STAT order entry, Accuflow Change logs, mail order entry, CII evaluation, and data entry.
Manage work queue, blister management, and patient admission into the pharmacy system.
Ensure accurate and timely input of prescription/patient information using the pharmacy computer system Framework/DocuTrack.
Research, follow up, and troubleshoot prescription/patient data entry discrepancies.
Resolve discrepancies in orders with customers, including illegible prescriptions or medication concerns.
Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals and objectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers.
Answer the telephone as needed to respond to customer needs and provide excellent customer service.

Work Environment
This is a closed-door pharmacy where technicians will not interact with customers face-to-face, only over the phone. The schedule includes working one weekend every other week with a day off during the week, and working every other holiday (3 holidays per year). The dress code includes scrubs or business casual attire with comfortable, clean tennis shoes. The facility is very clean and organized with a front desk, office area for order entry and pharmacists, an operations floor with automated equipment and shelves for refilling, an IV room, and a break room with coffee, water, and snacks for purchase. Order entry and customer care tasks are performed 100% on a computer with a headset.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
