    As a member of the Patient and Family Services team, the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst will join a strong transdisciplinary team serving a diverse patient population consisting primarily of children with complex medical needs including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, neurogenic/neurologic disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and down syndrome. The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst will develop, assess, oversee, implement and monitor Behavioral Support Plans of assigned individuals.

    Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analyses, Education, Psychology or related field by an accredited educational institution, with more than two years of relevant pediatric experience preferred. Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) via the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and must be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Arizona. BLS/CPR certification required. Experience with EMR/EHR (NextGen) a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful.

SUMMARY

This position performs psychological/behavioral assessments for assigned patient and assesses psychological and program needs of assigned individuals. Develops, assesses, oversees implements and monitors Behavioral Support Plans of assigned individuals. Conducts appropriate assessments (including functional behavioral assessments and/or analyses) to develop or modify BSP’s as well as determine the efficacy of each plan. Provides ongoing training to clinical staff in the implementation of behavior programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments/Analyses as assigned

Conduct curricular assessments as assigned

Develop Behavior Intervention Plans for clients in a timely and efficient manner

Train caregivers and staff on the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans using competency based training documentation

Graph, analyze and interpret data on the occurrence of target behaviors and replacement behaviors

Complete monthly, quarterly and annual summaries/reports/ updates within the requirements of funding source

Complete detailed service logs documenting how services were delivered

Assess clients’ needs for therapy and provide ongoing treatment

Train, model and provide feedback on the implementation of the behavior plan to caregivers

Performs standard assignments within own job functions. Expanding knowledge of fundamental theories, practices, procedures, and concepts within the job’s function.

Identifies and solves a range of problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions and assesses each using established procedures. Analyzes developments in the field for others.

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Children’s Clinics with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analyses, Education, Psychology or related field.

    Experience : Must have two plus years of relevant experience.

    Licenses and Certificates : Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) via the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and must be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Arizona.

    FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE

    Employees are required to maintain a current Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Proof of a current fingerprint clearance card must be received within 90 days of employment.
