We are seeking an Attorney/Lawyer for a short-term contract position in Tysons Corner, Virginia. This role involves providing legal advice and services in the area of Business & Commercial Law. The successful candidate will be expected to provide expert legal counsel and guidance, ensuring that the organization is operating within the law at all times. Apply today! Responsibilities:
• Provide expert legal advice on Business & Commercial Law matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents and contracts.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings if necessary.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure the organization is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and manage effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Advise on potential legal risks and issues.
• Assist with the development of policies and procedures for legal matters.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements • Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• Demonstrated expertise in Business & Commercial Law.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professional ethics and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Willingness to keep up-to-date with changes in the law and legal landscape.
• Proven track record of courtroom success is preferred.
• Exceptional client service orientation.
• Ability to handle high volume of cases and manage a busy schedule.
