We are looking for a Material Handler Lead to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!

As a Material Handler Lead, you will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfilment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.

Your Challenge:

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with the general day to day running of the warehouse

  • Create shipping paperwork for the shippers

  • Be the first point of contact for queries from the team

  • Answer queries from the sale admin team

  • Keeping the warehouse area clean, tidy, and free from unnecessary hazards to uphold health and safety

  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles – forklift raining will be given

  • Help maintain health and safety records

  • Help maintain training records for the team

  • Assist with the weekly cycle count and annual stock check

Your Expertise:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.
