Curtiss-Wright Corporation Senior Windows Software Engineer in UK, United Kingdom
We are looking for a Senior Windows Software Engineer to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!
As a Senior Windows Software Engineer for our Christchurch location, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team, designing safety critical, real time control systems which underpin our electric vehicle controllers. Reporting to a project manager, you will be exposed to all stages of the software development. You will demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop in the role. You will be self-motivated, goal driven, and a team player who can enthusiastically collaborate with other engineers.
The ideal candidate for this role will design, implementing, and testing embedded software components, following defined development procedures and processes.

Your Challenge
Designing, implementing, and testing software following defined development procedures and processes.
Writing of technical documentation.
Design review meetings.
Contributing to the innovation process.
What You Bring
A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of commercial experience developing complex software.
Programming languages: C++, C#
IDE: Visual Studio
Frameworks/Libraries: to include MFC, .net, STL
Database: e.g. MS Access, SQL, SQLite
Communications: USB, CAN, Serial (UART)
Configuration management: e.g. SVN, GIT
The following skills/experience would be advantageous but not essential:
- Linux development
