    The Central Region Office within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Receptionist (Office Assistant 3) position. This position is located in our Central Region Office in Union Gap, WA{rel="nofollow"}. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.   In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact at Ecology's Central Region Office. Providing excellent customer service, you will ensure the public and private sectors are provided the information they need in a timely manner. You will need strong communication skills, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to multi-task to be successful in this position. You will have the opportunity to connect with employees throughout the agency and learn all about Ecology's different environmental programs. You will also gain valuable customer service experience and develop office assistant skills.   Please Note: This is a temporary position that will end May 15, 2025.   Agency Mission: *Ecology's mission is to protect, preserve and enhance the environment for current and future generations.  * Schedule: This position is required to work in the office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. five days per week and is not eligible for a telework schedule.
