JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Pennsylvania State University Department of Kinesiology (KINES) seeks candidates for part-time adjunct instructor positions within the Applied Exercise and Health, and Movement Science Options of the program. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Kinesiology or closely related field.

Teaching opportunities may include but are not limited to: KINES 100 – The Cultural and Behavioral Foundations of Kinesiology, KINES 101 – The Biophysical Foundations of Kinesiology, KINES 200 – Muscle Training: Physiology, Programs, Techniques, KINES 202 – Functional Human Anatomy, KINES 203 -- Medical Terminology for Allied Health Professionals, KINES 321 – Psychology of Movement Behavior, KINES 341 – The Historical, Cultural, and Social Dynamics of Sport, KINES 345 – Meaning, Ethics, and Movement, KINES 402 – Human Anatomy Cadaver Dissection, KINES 421 – Exercise Psychology, KINES 360 – The Neurobiology of Motor Control and Development. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Reappointment in subsequent terms and years is possible pending continuing need.
