Job Title: Cherry Picker Operator

Job Description

Aerotek's client is currently seeking Cherry Picker Operators to join their team. This role involves order selecting in the large large pick section of the distribution center. Candidates will be responsible for pulling products weighing between 5-75lbs and using a cherry picker to transport them. This is a very large distribution center with narrow aisles, candidates need at least 2+ years of cherry picking operating/experience. This is a 2nd shift opportunity, the hours are 3:30pm-finish Monday-Friday. Candidates will need to be comfortable working mandatory overtime, averaging from 2-10+ hours weekly.

Job Type

• This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months - during that time, our client is looking for strong attendance and a good work ethic leading to permanent conversion.

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position in Upper Marlboro, Maryland

• Working in a large and fast-paced distribution warehouse environment

• Safety is a top priority and operators will be required to wear a safety harness during all times of operation
