The Sourcing Director, Downstream Hardware for Cytiva is responsible for accelerating supplier performance in key areas for Cytiva from Cost, Delivery and Security perspective.
This position is part of the Global Sourcing Organization and will be a hybrid position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and lead a large global sourcing team in charge of driving supplier performance from Cost, Delivery, Inventory, Sustainability and Security of supply perspective.
Build strong partnership with Business Unit leadership (COO/CFO/CTO) - ensure prioritization of key Cost out activities and allocation of resources
Partner with Category leaders and Cost execution group to deliver robust Sourcing strategy and cost improvement roadmap for Downstream Hardware Business unit
Partner with Sustainability team to deliver continuous improvement on supplier sustainability performance (green spend) and CO2 footprint
Leverage full extent of DBS tools to build robust DM/VM across Direct Ops and broader sourcing organization.
The essential requirements of the job include:
BS or MS degree or other advanced degree in Business Administration, Economics, Purchasing, Sourcing or Engineering.
10+ years of progressive experience in Sourcing or Operations
5+ year of experience in leadership with team of direct reports, and experience leading global associates.
Proficient in English with proven presentation and communication skills for adept collaboration with remote personnel.
Strong initiative taker, self starter who can works effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated project management and process improvement skills
