Siemens operates a global Workday HCM instance which already supports more than 45 countries and aims to roll out Workday world wide based on global processes. Our internal Team of Workday Specialists is very dedicated to operate, optimize and expand Workday across different Workday modules to maximize the value for Siemens.

Working as a specialist strongly together with the Functional Process Owners, Technical Leads and the Workday Operations Team will include the following activities:

  • Discover and analyze issues in the system and define, execute solution approaches

  • Identify, design and realize improvements within the existing Compensation / Adv. Comp / Benefits Configuration

  • Focus to ensure a secure global system and process stability

  • Support regular Workday Release Management

  • Collaboration with other customers to provide knowledge and respond to inquiries

  • Execute and manage regular operational activities including Incident Management and Service Request Management

  • Documentation of activities according to the compliance framework

In general, we expect you to have:

  • 3+ Years Technical Workday experience across different Workday modules

  • 1+ Years Technical Workday experience dedicated to Workday Compensation / Advanced Compensation / Benefits, ideally for different companies / clients

  • Academic degree related to Information Technology / Business / Economics

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change

  • Passion to bring value add to customers and provide excellence in service

  • Workday Trainings / certifications in focus area

Specific Skills:

  • Good Knowledge in configuring, maintaining and optimizing Workday configurations for Compensation/Adv. Compensation and Benefits

  • Experience in analyzing system issues and executing necessary solutions by ensuring system compliance

  • Analytical and communication skills combined with a good understanding of a large application and process landscape

  • Analytic skills to identify root-causes based on system data as well as Knowledge in Managing HR Master Data in Workday

  • Language: Professional Business English (must have), German (nice to have)
