Job Title:** Low Voltage Cable Installer
A low voltage cable company is looking for an experienced cabling technician that is willing to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Assist with service, installation and troubleshooting of low voltage systems
- Work in commercial, industrial and healthcare environments
- Install and terminate low voltage cable such as Cat5e and Cat6
- Installation of cable support pathway
- Read blueprints
- Cable testing
- Assist with building racks and mounting rack equipment
- Communicate with other technicians and project manager about project progress
- Always represent the company in a positive manner
- Complete all required daily paperwork and or proper use of phone applications
- Ability to work on a scissors lift and or a boom lift
- Having and IP Networking is a plus
- Typical workday starts at 8AM and goes until 4PM but you will be required to stay on a job until it is either completed or you are released by the project manager
- Travel will be required for each job, typically throughout the northeast Ohio area. Occasional out of town jobs do arise. Hotel and per diem costs will be paid through by the company.
PREFERENCES:
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean driving record (0 suspensions within 2 years)
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- 2+ years industry experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Provide your own hand tools

Must have flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work
