ABOUT THE POSITION

The Program Manager for the CSS Analytics team will be responsible for aligning organizational efforts with key initiatives, resources, and stakeholders. This role involves maintaining and supporting the analytic initiative intake process, managing project priorities, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. The Program Manager will develop strong relationships across the organization to ensure the team operates efficiently and projects align with business priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide program management oversight and aid the CSS Analytics team meet its strategic and operational goals.

  • Oversee the intake process for new initiatives, working with stakeholders to help set priorities and assess each project's resource needs.

  • Utilize project management tools to track progress, manage workflows, and support allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Develop and implement standardized processes for gathering and managing project requirements.

  • Work closely with cross functional areas to align projects and initiatives with the broader business strategy.

  • Ensure consistency in project execution by creating clear guidelines and best practices.

  • Build strong relationships with the Program Management Team, Product Managers, and other key stakeholders.

  • Act as a point of escalation for any project-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to project timelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred.

  • 7+ years in program management, specifically with analytical, data engineering, or software engineering teams.

  • 5+ years working collaboratively with product teams.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Expertise in project management platforms such as Jira, monday.com, and Trello.

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Teams).

  • Proven ability to manage and drive cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.

  • Experience in Agile and non-Agile project management methodologies.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

  • Experience in negotiating and managing expectations with senior leadership.

  • Self-starter with a drive for results, ability to work in ambiguous situations, and strong problem-solving skills.

  • High level of initiative and motivation.

  • Ability to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated expertise in fostering teamwork and driving collaborative efforts to achieve common business objectives.

  • Proven track record of addressing and resolving challenges through innovative problem-solving approaches.

Per the Washington statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location , at the time of this posting, is $125,000 - $150,000. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
