Aerotek Sanitation Technician in Vancouver, Washington

Job Title: Sanitation Technician

Job Description

As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the food processing production facility. Under the direction of the Sanitation Manager and in collaboration with the Production Manager, you will ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, including HACCP, SQF, GMP’s, allergens, and organic processing requirements. Your responsibilities will include cleaning processing equipment, conducting pre-operational sanitation, taking swab samples for lab testing, and maintaining constant vigilance over equipment and operations. You will report directly to the Sanitation Lead and take direction from the Quality Assurance Manager.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Vancouver, Washington.

Work Environment

This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to walk, stand, and maneuver throughout the workday, and lift materials up to 20lbs. The work environment includes exposure to loud machinery, wet floors, and variable temperatures in a food processing production facility.
