Description
Patricia Carlile with Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant to join her client located in Vancouver, Washington. The role involves performing a variety of accounting tasks including monthly financial close functions, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, and providing training to non-financial personnel on accounting procedures and financial statement review.
Responsibilities
• Perform monthly financial close functions through the preparation of financial statements for each designated operating location.
• Carry out reconciliation of all general ledger accounts.
• Provide monthly narrative analysis of significant financial variances to budget and forecast.
• Conduct rate analysis and review.
• Facilitate effective ongoing communication of financial related information to business counterparts.
• Manage the flow of accounting data to/from remote facilities.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Take charge of city and county reporting.
• Calculate and submit monthly fees for various municipalities.
• Prepare monthly State of Washington Department of Revenue B& O Tax reporting.
• Manage Accounts Receivable.
• Conduct Cash Reconciliations.
Skills
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP.

Requirements • Must possess skills in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary
• Familiarity with General Ledger management is expected
• Should be capable of managing Journal Entries
• Experience with Month End Close process is essential
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software is preferred
• Knowledge of Oracle software is desirable
• QuickBooks experience is a plus
• SAP software knowledge is beneficial
• The role requires a professional with Staff Accountant job function experience
