What You'll Do:

• Create and manage virtualized demo environments, ensuring they accurately represent production environments and meet the needs of sales demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs).

• Manage virtualized environments using technologies such as OpenStack

• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to highlight cloud native applications capabilities

• Provide technical support to sales consultants during their demonstrations and POCs, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth execution of presentations.

• Perform demo environments backups and restores, safeguarding critical data and configurations to ensure continuity of demo operations

• Develop Cloud Native use cases, leveraging modern technologies such as Kubernetes and serverless computing to showcase the capabilities of our solutions in cloud environments.

• Build custom Grafana dashboards to visualize performance metrics and key indicators, providing stakeholders with actionable insights into the performance and effectiveness of our solutions.

• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance

• Perform regular upgrades and maintenance on demo platforms, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest software versions and patches.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles

• Proficiency in Linux system administration

• Experience with virtualization technologies docker, podman, OpenStack

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automating tasks and managing infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment and management

• Familiarity with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications and deployments

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Jenkins

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging technologies (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Hands on expertise on Oracle OCI and / or Oracle Communications applications is a plus.
