Logistics Supervisor – SSA
Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of military supply activities. Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports. Maintains inventories and completes records. Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all classes of supply to support mission needs. Works with minimal direction or oversight and assigns work priorities to warehouse staff. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of services. Evaluates service execution for compliance to contract, schedule, cost budgets, and quality. Advises team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors in reference to scope of work. Informs team of updates to safety rules and procedures. Requires high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in military warehousing operations.
Certification in GCSS-Army (Global Combat Support System)
Experience in the TMR (Transportation Movement request) process
Level 6 RFID Tags (Radio Frequency Identification Tag)
Must be knowledgeable of government property account ability, Supply Support Activity operations and all other applicable doctrines.
Must have or be able to obtain a NAC-I
Must be fluent in English
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 month of remaining validity.
