Meta International Financial Accountant in Singapore
Summary:

The candidate will strike a balance on getting the details right while still moving fast enough to support the rapid business growth. This role reports to an International Accounting Manager.

International Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving timely and accurate statutory financial statements compliance for an assigned portfolio of entities
Build relationships and manage service levels with key external vendors and business process outsourcing supporting the preparation of financial statements and review the work of our outsourced partners
Coordinate and manage the audit process with our statutory auditors for assigned entities
Work closely with Meta Tax Teams for the filing of Corporate tax and Value-Added Tax (VAT) returns
Review Tax-related balance sheet reconciliations monthly and quarterly for US GAAP close for assigned entities
Lead and support projects to optimize and transform the INTL Statutory Compliance process by analyzing areas of opportunities. Design, test and roll-out new tools , solutions, processes and frameworks for the INTL Statutory Controllership Team
Collaborate with INTL Technical Operations and Technical Accounting Teams in consistent implementation of IFRS and other accounting or non-financial standards for assigned entities
Prepare/review technical accounting memos for significant or complex transactions in collaboration with the technical accounting team
Collaborate with Cross function partners within and outside Finance to execute business objectives, providing support to management where required including any ad hoc or project work assigned.

6+ years relevant experience with a fast-growing, multinational company or professional services i.e. Big Four
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Recognized accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards ( IFRS) and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP)
Able to operate with a high degree of autonomy
Highly collaborative, strong communication skills and demonstrated experience to work in a fast-paced environment while being embracing ambiguity with navigating change
Superb attention to detail and possess a macro view
Experience implementing and improving business processes and systems
