Business Analyst I Location: Remote Duration: 3 months Description: Position Overview: Analyzes company functions, processes, and activities to improve computer-based business applications for the most effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people. Utilizes available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement. Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures. Determines most useful business solutions for the company. Recommends alternative solutions to management as to courses of action that best meet the organization's goals. The Business Analyst will be responsible for processing and tracking contract invoice payments as well as researching and resolving invoicing issues in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) accounts payable database. This position will be responsible for creating requisitions in ERP for new and existing purchase orders. Pulling and reviewing contract documentation from the system of record NTracts. Processing new and renewal contract requests complying with company policies and procedures. Perform and manage complex data analysis for reporting purposes. Serve as a Liaison between Accounts Payable, Business Operations, the Legal department, Compliance, IT Finance, and all other internal departments as required. Works alongside the Senior Business Analyst, responsible for business process management which includes developing and maintaining a repository of organizational and tactical objectives, process documentation, reporting, database management, analysis, department/unit metrics and key performance indicators. Minimum Experience: 1-3 years Contract Management, Finance/budget, Healthcare experience Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements. Preferred Experience: Contract Management, Finance/budget, Healthcare experience Skills/Abilities: Self-directed with strong communication skills with demonstrated experience developing and maintaining effective working relationships across the organization at varying position levels Quantitative skills for statistical analysis and budget assessment. Responds positively and remains flexible to a changing work environment. Adjusts well to change in job functions, volumes, and work hours. Has the ability and responsibility to handle audits and reviewing access problems, research potential solutions and suggest procedural changes to prevent the problem in the future when applicable. Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, collaborative, analytical and organizational skills. Foster and promote a positive and professional image. Must be able to foster and maintain sound working relationships. Demonstrates ability to manage multiple, changing priorities in an effective and organized manner, under stressful demands while maintaining exceptional service. Demonstrated ability to maintain composure when confronted by difficult situations and to respond professionally. Skill in recognizing an emergency or high priority situation, taking appropriate and immediate action. Flexible work style, tactful, poised, and patient. Ability to handle a high degree of pressure, heavy workloads, multiple requests, numerous interruptions, and short deadlines in a positive manner, establishing priorities for effective work completion. Adapts quickly to changing conditions, assimilating new processes into job functions and taking ownership. Effective time management and organizational skills to identify, prioritize and reach goals and objectives faster and easier, cope with multiple demands in a timely manner, and overcome changing priorities. Capable of maintaining strict confidentiality within and outside the organization Software: MS Office, Outlook, SalesForce, Allscripts, EPIC, NTracts, DocuSign Possesses intermediate/advanced computer knowledge/technological skills. Machines/Equipment: Computer Working / Environmental Conditions: Pressure due to deadline requirements Physical Demands: Extensive computer activity Computer tasks involve hand/wrist coordination
