Essential Functions

What You’ll Do:

Key Responsibilities

As a Learning & Development Business Partner, you will:

  • Design and Deliver Transformational Training Programs:Develop and implement innovative, County-wide learning initiatives tailored to enhance employee skills and drive organizational success.

  • Lead Engaging Employee Development Efforts:Plan, organize, and facilitate impactful onboarding, orientation, and skills training sessions that captivate and empower employees at all levels.

  • Leverage Data to Drive Decisions:Collect, analyze, and present critical HR metrics to senior leadership, using insights to shape strategic workforce development initiatives.

  • Elevate Performance Management Systems: Streamline and enhance employee evaluation processes by managing and optimizing the NeoGov Perform module.

  • Ensure Operational Excellence:Oversee essential administrative functions, including compliance with FMLA, policy audits, and HR documentation, to uphold organizational standards.

  • Collaborate to Shape the Future: Partner with leadership teams and departments to identify long-term training needs and create solutions that align with strategic goals.

Typical Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive Experience:5+ years of expertise in learning and development with a proven track record of driving impactful initiatives.

  • Strategic Insight:Advanced ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of technologies (i.e., Microsoft Suites, Articulate, and Learning Management Systems), data reporting tools, and advanced spreadsheet applications to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.

  • Project Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing multiple high-impact projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.

  • Educational Foundation:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or a comparable combination of education and work experience.
