V2X is looking for an experienced Regional Services Manager to join our team. This position will support our maintenance contract with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), performing oversight of all preventive and corrective maintenance on airport checkpoint security screening equipment in their region. In this role the successful candidate will communicate regularly with all airports in their region, oversee subcontractor field service technicians, direct quality control activities, and conduct analysis on performance to develop corrective action plans. Work is 80% from home, with travel to the airport locations in their region on a periodic basis. Region for this position is the Central United States, covering Montana and North Dakota south to Texas and Louisiana.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

  • Coordinate all maintenance work in their region, including oversight of the work of greater than 100 field service technicians.

  • Close coordination with airports, subcontractors, and our Program Management Office.

  • Analyze maintenance schedules to determine changes to improve TSA material readiness and proactive maintenance approach.

  • Periodically travel to meet with local TSA at airports in the region.

  • Analyze data in Maximo computerized maintenance system to look for trends in maintenance performance and present data for senior program leader decisions.

  • Track and monitor the performance of all Service Level Agreements for maintenance and supply support in their region.

  • Investigate, develop, recommend, and implement corrective actions to customer problems and issues.

  • Direct quality control activities within respective region to help identify underlying issues and trends.

  • Set clear team goals, communicate responsibilities, and create a collaborative team environment with an open communication culture.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

High School Diploma

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience.

  • Vocational / technical training

  • Computer literacy; competency in use of all programs within MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.

  • Individuals shall possess excellent communications skills and have a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork.

  • Must be willing & able to travel at short notice.

  • Active TSA suitability clearance or ability to obtain TSA suitability clearance through an in-depth background check (TSA eQIP).

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • 3 years of experience overseeing field technicians.
