Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese Senior Housing - Site Director in United States

Essential Functions of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements below that

  • Oversees the assigned property and staff ensuring all fiscal, maintenance, compliance, and resident matters are managed appropriately; Provides regular updates and/or reports about the property to the Multi-Building Program Manager and Associate Vice President of Housing

  • Oversees the move-in, and recertification process ensuring confidential resident files are accurate, organized and in compliance with funding guidelines and Catholic Charities Housing Services Policies and Procedures

  • Prepares and organizes confidential resident files for annual audits following prescribed methods ensuring all residents files are accurate, organized and in compliance with funding requirements at all times

  • Ensures readiness to pass all inspections/reviews of management documents and/or resident files by a funder or regulatory body (i.e., MOR, IHDA etc.) at all times

  • Works in conjunction with maintenance staff to help ensure the building is ready to pass any physical inspection by a funder or regulatory body (i.e., HUD REAC etc.) by communicating and coordinating involved parties

  • Ensures staff provide welcoming and responsive interactions with applicants, residents, residents' guests, staff, vendors, and volunteers; Confirms accurate information is provided regarding funding guidelines in both oral and written communication

  • Responsible for the coordination of weekly meetings and all completed work orders

  • Responsible for the supervision, coaching and performance evaluation of property management staff assigned; May assist in the hiring process of staff along with Multi -building Program Manager and Associate Vice President of Housing

  • Attends and participates in any specialized funding and /or Catholic Charities in the housing industry

  • Must be available to manage any building or resident emergency during business hours and after regular business hours

    Additional Requirements:

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    Relevant Education:

    Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

    Minimum: Associate's Degree and/or Equivalent Experience in Job Related Field

    Relevant Experience:

    Preferred: 4-6 Years

    Minimum: 2-4 Years

    Certification/Licensure:

    Preferred: NCHM Certified Occupancy Specialist certification (COS), IREM Accredited Residential Manager Certification (ARM)

    Minimum: 3 years property management experience, NCHM Certified Occupancy Specialist certification (COS) obtained by the first anniversary of employment, Obtain IREM Accredited Residential Manager Certification (ARM)
