Position: Vacation Rental House Cleaner

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vacation Rental House Cleaner to join our team at Makaha Cleaners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our rental properties are clean, organized, and ready for guests. This role requires multitasking, attention to detail, and the ability to follow a structured cleaning process.

Responsibilities:

  • Laundry:

    • Gather and sort towels and linens by room.
    • Start the first load of laundry and monitor throughout the cleaning process.
  • Dishes and Trash:

    • Load and run the dishwasher as needed.
    • Clear all interior trash from the house and garage, rebagging overflowing trash.
  • Garage:

    • Sweep and organize the garage, separating linens by room.
  • Patio:

    • Clean and organize patio furniture.
  • Sanitization:

    • Disinfect mattresses, pillows, surfaces, carpets, bathrooms, and railings.
  • Bathrooms:

    • Clean bathrooms thoroughly from top to bottom, including toilets, showers, and surfaces.
    • Refill containers and replace shower liners if needed.
  • Kitchen:

    • Clean all kitchen surfaces and appliances.
    • Organize and clean the refrigerator and ensure the coffee maker is clean.
  • Living Areas and Bedrooms:

    • Wipe and sanitize furniture, windows, and electronics.
    • Check and clean sofa beds, vacuuming as needed.
    • Make beds following the companys standard method.
  • Stocking and Final Checks:

    • Stock bathrooms and kitchens according to the length of stay.
    • Organize and straighten all areas to presentable standards.
    • Ensure all lights and electronics are set properly.
    • Perform a final check for damages and cleanliness.
  • Outside and Garage:

    • Clean BBQ grills and organize outdoor items.
    • Ensure trash bins are managed properly.
    • Perform deep cleaning tasks on non-check-in days, such as cleaning AC filters and appliances.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and follow a structured cleaning process.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members.
  • Physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks and lifting.
