Description We are offering a contract for a Loan Processor role in the banking industry, located in Wakefield, Massachusetts, United States. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary action.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications accurately and promptly.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit.

• Address and resolve any customer inquiries related to their credit application.

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Handle residential mortgage applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in loan processing or a related field

• Proficient knowledge of residential mortgages

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Advanced proficiency in Office Suite, particularly in spreadsheet software

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• Ability to handle high volume of loans and related paperwork

• Knowledge of loan processing software would be advantageous

• Familiarity with federal and state regulations concerning loan processing

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance or a related field would be a plus
