State of Montana QI Analyst in Warm Springs, Montana

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity for a QI Analyst within Montana State Hospital. TheMontana State Hospital (MSH) in Warm Springs provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. MSH is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana that serves people admitted from communities across the state. This position is responsible for assisting in the hospital-wide performance improvement program data collection and reporting. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * Knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of statistical analysis. * Knowledge of healthcare information system analysis and information system security. * Knowledge of project management methodologies. * Knowledge of electronic medical record systems functions and associated regulations. * Knowledge of medical terminology. * Ability to solve complex process and system problems. * Ability to identify problems, research, and develop/implement solutions. * Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Health Information, Health Administration or related field. o Two years of direct job-related clinical work experience including but not limited to project management, and clinical data process and analysis. o Certification/License in healthcare field preferred. o Project Management certification preferred. o Other combinations of directly-related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
