Maintenance Operations Manager
SUMMARY: Under general direction, assists with supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in the maintenance, repair and installation of equipment for County buildings, grounds, vehicles and utility systems by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
Reviews job orders to determine work priorities, particularly focusing on high priority tickets and aging tickets. Oversees the schedule of repairs, maintenance & installation of machines & equipment to ensure continuous operations; creates RFP for bids from outside contractors; assists Building and Vehicle Maintenance Operations Manager (fka Facilities Manager) as s/he plans, directs and coordinates activities of designed projects to insure that aims, goals or objectives specified for projects are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitations and funding conditions. On call 24-hours.
