LifePoint Health Unit Support Specialist - Surgical Services - FT Weekdays in Warrenton, Virginia
The Unit Support Specialist independently performs all clerical and administrative duties to coordinate the activity of the department.
- Provides support to the Surgical Services department in day to day operations.
- Schedules surgical procedures and acts as primary liaison between department and physician offices.
- Compiles and enters data as assigned.Exhibits familiarity with computer programs used to support unit functions. Serves as liaison to IS to assist with the coordination of software upgrades and testing, dictionary maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.
- Prepares and maintains medical records

Job Requirements
Minimum Education □ High school diploma or equivalent □ Preferred X Required
Minimum Work Experience Required – 1 year experience in a hospital setting
