Overview:

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking dedicated and skilled Human Resource Assistants/Specialist to join our bench listing to support a federal client. This role provides a unique opportunity to support our federal client’s mission and be considered for future openings.

Objective:

As an HR Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and technical support to HR management and staff in areas such as staffing and recruitment, human resource development, employee relations, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and technical support to HR Specialist staff in staffing and recruitment, position classification, human resource development, HR systems, and employee relations programs.

  • Assist with awards activities as needed.

  • File documents and maintain Official Personnel Folders (OPFs).

  • Process actions, build and post vacancies, and input travel and employee timecards.

  • Develop graphic/artistic presentations for publications and documents as required.

    Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of current Federal HR laws, regulations, and policies.

  • Proficiency in using office automation software, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.

  • Skill in drafting, editing, and reviewing documents for correct content, spelling, punctuation, format, grammar, and style.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of responsibility.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Experience with electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) processing, coding personal actions.

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with several offices to ensure the success of the program.

  • Ability to resolve issues effectively with internal stakeholders and the public.

  • Skill in coordinating several integrated business processes to ensure the timely processing of all requests.
