BRMi Business Systems Analyst in Washington, District Of Columbia

Overview

BRMi is looking for a strong business analyst to mature a Federal Commission’s CUI Management Program. The organization’s CUI Management Program seeks to:

  • Better understand, identify, and handle the sensitive information created, captured, maintained and disseminated within its organization.

  • Develop rigorous information governance guidance to improve information security and knowledge sharing and ensure appropriate access to and dissemination of information.

  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure Information Governance policies are complied with and develop capabilities to monitor and measure policy compliance.

  • Ensure policies and procedures comply with NIST, NARA, FISMA, and all other applicable regulations.

  • Enable the execution of policies, training, data protection, and data exchange processes with economical IT solutions and applications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Information Governance implementation activities across the Commission.

  • Facilitate collaborative activities with organizational stakeholders across 12 program offices to increase compliance with policies and standards, understand challenges in compliance and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Support development and execution of strategic roadmaps for information governance within the Commission

  • Assist with the development and execution of CUI training to Commission offices to help increase compliance and adherence to OMB requirements

  • Develop and present executive level briefings to organizational leadership team

  • Provide recommendations to advance the program objectives

  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Accepting U.S. Citizens and Green card holders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Experience working within the federal sector

  • Proven experience in tangible delivery success

  • Prior hands-on experience with stakeholder management, information governance, and training development and execution

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including GS 12 through SES level

  • Excellent capability in development of executive briefings, strategic recommendations, and roadmaps

Desired Requirements:

  • Experience in the CUI, Privacy, or information governance arena (strongly desired)

  • SharePoint experience

  • MS DevOps experience (SCRUM)

  • MS Purview experience

  • Strong presentation skills
