Job Title: Executive Assistant to the CEOJob Description

We are seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to provide support to our President and Chief Executive Officer. Your primary responsibilities will include communicating on behalf of the CEO, which may involve composing written correspondence and/or live interactions. As a secondary role, you will be responsible for managing routine operational processes for the Executive Office, such as scheduling, coordinating travel, managing support services, and overseeing office operations. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring the effectiveness of Executive Office operations by evaluating procedures and implementing workflow efficiencies.

Hard Skills

  • Minimum of five years of experience in an administrative assistant role to a C-level executive

  • High school diploma; Bachelor's degree is highly preferred

  • Proficient in outlook calendar management, preparing executives for meetings, travel arrangements, expenses, and meeting planning

  • Experience in managing speaking requests and engagements

  • Experience in recording meetings and actions of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee

Soft Skills

  • Highly organized

  • Detail oriented

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks

  • Ability to manage day-to-day Executive Office operations

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Washington, District of Columbia.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite, with work hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch) for a total of 35 hours per week. The candidate must be willing to travel as needed.
