Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst (Grants Management) for one of our federal clients.
Essential Job Functions
Track grant funds each fiscal year to include allotments, commitments, obligations, and any transfers of funds such as Title 23 funds.
Regularly report on account balances to leadership.
Assist with programmatic and financial tracking systems.
Assist with PR creation and modification by grant year while ensuring integrity of data to include proper recipient, amount, and Federal share.
Reconcile funds on a regular recurring basis.
Requirements
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field (e.g. Business Administration, Accounting, etc.)
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in grants management
Proficient in Microsoft 365 software (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
4 years of experience providing financial management support, preferably within the Department of Transportation (DOT)
Familiarity with DOT grant funds such as Title 23 funds
Experience tracking, reporting on, and executing grants
