Are you an HR Director with experience wearing many hats? Do you have a passion for service and a passion for training? Our client, a senior living community 501(c)3 located here in Washington, DC is looking to bring on a Director of HR to oversee all aspects of Human Resources. The ideal candidate would have a high knowledge of expertise in recruiting, development, employee engagement, and HR finances. Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

Include but are not limited to the following:

Staffing and Compensation

o Hiring and Vacancy management

o Competitive Compensation Evaluation

o Terminations and Guidance

o Collective Bargaining Management

Benefits

o Review and recommend competitive benefits

o Administration of all benefits

§ Plan Administrator for 403b Program

§ Liaison with insurers

§ Tuition Reimbursement

Employee Relations

o Job Description ownership

o Develop, Manage, Implement Performance Evaluations-Annual/ mid year

o Workman's Comp-Short Term Disability

o Unemployment and other Claims

o FMLA and Cobra administration

o Maintain Employee Records

Finance and Budget

o HR Department budget

o Compensation and cost analysis

o Payroll budget and compliance

Training/Orientation/Events

o Coordinate orientation and in-service programs (excluding specific job function areas)

o Professional Development for Staff
