The service offerings include Application Implementation, Managed Services and Customization development services for Oracle Health Insurance products and components.

Job Description

Activities in Oracle Health Insurance Consulting (OHI) Implementation or Development or Managed Service activity streams as a Senior / Lead Functional Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall technical guidance, direction, and hands-on contribution in designing and building integrations with Oracle Integration Cloud.

  • Provide guidance in migrating composite Integration Cloud apps between environments.

  • Ensure the ongoing upgrade and upkeep of cloud implementation designs by applying industry standards and best practices.

  • Learn and incorporate the best available Oracle and Oracle approved technologies into application architecture.

  • Unit testing, integration testing.

  • Verify, test, and help find resolutions to issues reported by customers and internally.

  • Write clear, concise and thorough design documents

  • Contribute to the resolution of defects and enhancement requests

  • Perform other work related responsibilities as assigned by management

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a software developer delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide web applications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience delivering scalable and highly-available applications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience and hands-on knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud, some of which could be Oracle SOA Suite experience

  • Understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud best practices

  • Experience integrating with API Gateway and Identity Cloud Service

  • Expertise in using BPEL, FTP/File Adaptors, Process Cloud Workflows, Human Workflow

  • Minimum 5 years of experience and hands-on knowledge of JAVA or other Object Oriented Language

  • Expertise in developing Microservices

  • Minimum 5 years of experience and hands-on knowledge of XML, XSLT, XSD, and WSDL

  • Minimum 5 years of experience and hands-on knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing apps for cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure)

  • Experience with distributed caching technologies like Coherence, Redis, or ElastiCache.

  • Experience with Kafka

  • Experience working on Windows and Linux OSs

  • Experience following agile software development methodologies and life cycles

  • Highly-motivated, high energy individual with a strong commitment to quality

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal direction

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impacts across the stack. 8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

US: Hiring Range: from $88,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
