Department of the Navy/Assistant for Administration FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Washington Navy Yard, District Of Columbia

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF NAVY (FM&C) of ASN. Responsibilities You will demonstrate end-to-end process supporting the development of requirements in support of future system migrations. You will leverage financial management processes while supporting the end-to-end process Integrated Product Teams including collaboration across organizations, agencies, and other commands. You will support Data Management processes through engagement with Data Management Integrated Product Teams (mapping of data applicable to end-to-end process areas). You will identify and communicate data management issues, and support the development/execution/delivery of data mapping, cleansing, testing, and conversion. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of programs and administrative operations. You will implement internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support programs and activities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience demonstrating end-to-end process supporting the development of requirements in support of future system migrations. Experience leveraging financial management processes while supporting end-to-end process Integrated Product teams including collaboration across organizations, agencies, and other commands. Experience supporting Data Management processes through engagement with Data Management Integrated Product Teams (mapping of data applicable to end-to-end process areas, identifying and communicating data management issues, and supporting the development/execution/delivery of data mapping, cleansing, testing, conversion, etc).
