Responsibilities You will serve as a Nuclear Armed Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Acquisition Management Program Analyst at Strategic Systems Program (SSP) in Washington, DC. You will provide special technical analysis, expertise, and guidance on acquisition management, budget execution, program analysis, and the strategy and planning for SSP. You will support the SP111 Section Head to lead SLCM-N acquisition managers in the development and maintenance of the acquisition strategy, the acquisition plan, and required documents in support of acquisition reviews. You will manage acquisition documents for external commitment, ensuring timely submission of an integrated, quality product. You will develop, in coordination with the comptroller, the Selected Acquisition Report (SAR) for the SLCM-N program for an annual reporting. You will ensure that the acquisition strategy is developed to expend the resources provided by the Navy Resource Sponsor to SSP in an efficient and cost-effective manner to support assigned programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing expertise in DoD acquisition processes and management principles to effectively plan and coordinate teams, ensuring sucessful development and support of defense systems. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
