BlueScope Recycling and Materials/BlueScope Recycling and Materials Transport Crane Operator in Waterloo, Indiana
[Summary:[ The Crane Operator loads and unloads material using company equipment to specified locations while maintaining a safe and organized yard while achieving company goals, under the direction of the Area Supervisor. Efficiently identifies and sorts materials and feeds the shredder conveyor line. - Perform physical duties that are associated with the operation of equipment
- Follow the direction of the Area Supervisor with regard to daily production and activities to complete the job
- Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment as required
- Follow the dress code and compliance of proper PPE at all times
- Work independently in the absence of direct supervision
- Profound ability to make decisions, solve problems and handle high-stress situations calmly and safely

- Basic math, reading and writing skills
- Heavy equipment experience preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work efficiently

- Willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary
