Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be pivotal in conducting crane repairs for a diverse clientele. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical devices and operating stick welding machines for minor repairs. You will perform service work on various types of overhead cranes, both AC and DC, and handle installations of significant modifications to existing cranes. Moreover, you will troubleshoot crane electrical controls, including magnetic, vacuum contactor, and VFD systems, and perform detailed inspections on all types of lifting equipment.

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin and some days remote.
Work Environment
Travel within WI, MN, and IL is required, with some weeks involving one or two days of travel. Extensive travel of more than 4 days per week will entitle you to a bonus on your hourly rate plus overtime for hours worked. You must provide your own tools when traveling.
