In addition to skill and experience, we also seek to attract and retain colleagues whose beliefs and behaviors are in alignment with our core values of collaboration, innovation, caring, integrity and accountability.As a Data Scientist within CVS Health, you will:• Guide the development of artificial intelligence models and machine learning algorithms with applications across the healthcare spectrum for CVS• Deliver tangible solutions for clients, as well as create and maintain architecture using leading AI technology frameworks and uses algorithms and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes.• Collaborate with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics.• Develop and participate in presentations and consultations to existing and prospective constituents on analytics results and solutions. Interact with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization.• Develop dashboards based on business requirementsThis position can be done in one of our Analytics Hubs (Chicago, New York, Boston). Fully remote may be an option.

Required Qualifications

1+ years’ experience as a Data Scientist

1+ years’ experience with Tableau/Power BI

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Equity data. Understanding of and interest in disparities relating to socioeconomic and structural factors such as income, education, location, race/ethnicity, gender identity, disability, etc.

• 1+ years’ experience working with Healthcare data• Ability to synthesize information from disparate data sources, evaluating suitability of data sources for specific use case.• Able to use sound statistical knowledge related to linear and non-linear dimensionality reduction, analyzing latent constructs in data, structural equation models, partial least square regression.• Experience in data engineering, especially python coding. • Exposure to GCP• Experience leading analysis and initiatives with a track record of business impact.

• Experience in Business Intelligence, especially working with Tableau/Power BI and Tableau Server/Power BI Workspace

• Ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.Masters or PhD preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,705.00 - $175,100.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
