Description

Performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in the accounting department, including AP & AR.

Accounts Payable &/or Accounts Receivable

  • Voucher Vendor PO and Non-PO related invoices.
  • Review invoices and obtain approvals as necessary.
  • Enter and route payable invoices.
  • Reconcile Vendor Statements
  • Initiation of checks, wires, or ACH Payments
  • Enter sales invoices.
  • Assist in collections.
  • Assist in the annual preparation of 1099 statements.
  • Process cash receipts.
  • Print wire receipts and maintain payment & receipt log.
  • Prepare spreadsheets to allocate various charges to the operating units.
  • Provide backup to receptionist as needed, (i.e. covering the phones, etc.)
  • Assists with month-end close processes.
  • Adheres to accounting and auditing policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education/Training:
