Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Bikehand to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to operate an e-bike, perform basic maintenance and repairs, and assist customers with their rental experience. This role requires strong organizational skills and a passion for biking and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate e-bikes and demonstrate their use to customers.
- Use computer software to track and record equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
- Greet customers, describe e-bikes and accessories, and explain their use, operation, and care.
- Perform e-bike accessory changes, and adjust seats and handlebars to customers' satisfaction.
- Briefly explain rules and trail etiquette while encouraging safety.
- Move or load e-bikes and other equipment as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on e-bikes, parts, and other equipment.
- Inspect equipment to determine the corrective action necessary.
- Repair, replace, and inflate tires correctly.
- Clean e-bikes and accessories.
- Stock shelves with parts and accessories.
- Perform inventory counts.

Qualifications:
- No formal schooling is required.
- Must have computer skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Available to work day and weekend shifts.
- Comfortable with operating e-bikes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to move and handle e-bikes and other equipment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience with bikes or e-bikes is a plus but not required.
- Basic mechanical skills are a plus.
