Description

Our client, a renowned manufacturing firm with about 500 employees spread across multiple sites, is seeking a seasoned HR Director to join their executive leadership team. We are looking for a strategic leader who can drive HR initiatives, manage risks, and contribute to big-picture projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the senior leadership team to strategize and address key HR issues

  • Lead impactful risk management activities

  • Design and implement a leadership training initiative for line managers

  • Evaluate and manage the effectiveness of existing programs and outside vendors

  • Participate in big picture projects as they arise

  • Develop the existing HR team, fostering their growth and guiding their performance

The ideal candidate will not necessarily shake things up, but always be open to improvements. We have a strong team in place and we need your skills to help guide them to the next level.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Director or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of strategic HR practices and risk management

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills

  • Experience with training initiatives and performance evaluation processes

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility to address big picture projects when needed

Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources managerial role.

• Proficient in Benefits Coordination and Employee Benefit Plan and Program management.

• Demonstrable experience with HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems is necessary.

• Must be adept in Human Resources (HR) Administration.

• Skills in managing Employee Relations and Employee Recognition programs are required.

• Experience in creating and maintaining an Employee Handbook is necessary.

• Must have the ability to implement and manage HR policies and procedures.

• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is essential.

• Excellent communication skills for liaising between employees and management.

• Strong leadership skills to guide and manage the HR team effectively.

• Proficient in using software for data analysis, presentations, and report writing.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.

• Professional HR certification will be considered an advantage.

• Must have knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex employee relations issues.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
