GENERAL SUMMARY:

Maintains operation of the Coffee Shop in the Manager's absence and provide additional support as outlined below. Greets each guest that enters the store within 15 seconds with a verbal or non-verbal greeting, smile and eye contact. Proactively engages the guest in conversation. Seeks opportunities to educate and suggestively sell. Executes all company initiatives. Be self directed and independent. Ability to interact with the volunteers in a patient and professional manner. Be flexible in work schedule to meet the demands of a busy retail environment. Demonstrate all qualities of Service Excellence. Have a strong ability for attention to detail.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma.

• Restaurant, retail or guest service experience.

  PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Need to lift boxes (up to 40lbs) and push loaded carts to move merchandise from storage area to sales area.

• Storage area contains boxes of merchandise that are often dirty from shipping.
